Context beyond the Bounds of Imagination. 5inLodz – cum contextum at W20.

The goal of 5inLodz (libraries – i.e. books) has never been to become the dominant brand sold at airports. Even if you diligently index each of the words from each of the five books, you will not be more like its donor.
5inLodz tries to extend the context as far as possible, beyond the limits of imagination. Context is a word entangled in our history in Łódź. This is a word describing: braiding, weaving, joining together. To be precise, we operate: Cum contextum.
We collect books, combine, tinker with them, arrange them in strange constellations. “Some other mechanism must come into play.” Rather, a collection, a collection that may just as well resemble a mechanism as an organism.
