Jean-Marc Caracci: Homo Urbanus Europeanus

Jean-Marc Caracci has been working on the Homo Urbanus Europeanus project since 2007. The artist photographs solitary human figures caught in urban space. He began the series in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, before visiting Riga, Vilnius, Sofia, Madrid, Warsaw, Rome, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Belgrade, Tallinn, Helsinki, Reykjavík, Paris, Brussels, Oslo, Stockholm, Prague, Berlin, Istanbul, Lisbon, Bucharest, Tirana, Budapest, Vienna, Athens, Luxembourg, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, London, Dublin, Skopje, Podgorica, Sarajevo and Pristina. He photographed some of these cities on several occasions.
